Deer Hide Scrap Bags

These deer hide scrap bags are sourced through an Indigenous-owned company that works with families to responsibly utilize hides that might otherwise go to waste. By giving these beautiful natural materials a second life, every bag supports a more sustainable approach while providing high-quality hide for your creative projects.

The scrap pieces are ideal for small beadwork, jewelry making, earrings, appliqué, repairs, and other craft projects where full hides aren’t necessary.

Deer hide is softer, thinner, and more supple than moose hide, making it an excellent choice for projects that require flexibility and a smooth finish. Thickness is approximately 1.75–2 mm, though natural variations should be expected.

Large Bags

• Pieces are rectangular.

Medium Bags

• Approximately 4” × 5”
• Shapes vary more than the large bags.
• If a colour includes a slightly smaller piece, we may include an additional piece to provide comparable value.
