Sourced from an Indigenous owned company, who sources the hide from families who otherwise would have discarded the hides. Scrap bags are the left over pieces of moose that work great for small jewelry projects.
Deer hide is thinner and more supple than moose hide. Approx. 1.75mm - 2mm thick, but can vary slightly.
Sizes:
Large bags - approx. 5.75” x 4.5”(sizes vary outside this). These cuts are rectangular.
Small bags - approx. 4” x 3” (sizes vary outside this). These cuts vary more in shape than the large bags, and are usually smaller. Sometimes we may add a piece extra if we can only get a smaller cut of a colour.
