What is happening with Canada Post?

Canada Post’s workers have been in negotiations with Canada out for the last 18 months over several work related issues. This has resulted in one work related strike in 2024/2025 and another strike is possible anytime. See the updated negotiations here:

How will this affect me if I decide to order?

Indigenous Spirit Jewelry is still accepting and sending out orders. Here are a few scenarios you may find yourself in:

1. You have a PO Box or live in an apartment:

   • Courier companies cannot deliver to these types of residences. We can proceed with your order through Canada Post, but cannot guarantee your package will arrive if still in transit and a strike occurs. In this case, we will reach out to ask if you want to take this chance. If so, and a strike happens, you will need to wait until the strike is resolved to get your parcel from Canada Post.

   • Alternatively, you can send us another civic address where couriers can leave packages.

2. You have an address where courier companies can deliver packages:

   • We can send your parcel through a courier company, but cannot guarantee delivery rates. If your delivery charge is over the amount charged at checkout, we will email to ask you wish to pay the extra rate or have us issue you a refund.
